On September 15, at approximately 10:00 AM, peasant organizer Bea Lopez and tricycle driver Peter Agrabante were abducted in Sipalay City.
The victims were en route Brgy. Gil Montilla when they were stopped by a white van. Masked and armed individuals forcibly took Lopez and Agrabante into the vehicle.
The tricycle the victims had been riding was also forcibly taken and loaded at the back of a pick-up vehicle.
Bea Lopez, a 26-year-old female, hails from Sitio Langud in Brgy. Camalandaan, Cauayan, Negros Occidental. She is a peasant organizer.
Meanwhile, Peter Agrabante, the tricycle driver involved in this incident, is a male resident of Sitio Tagnok, Gil Montilla, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
